What to Include
When reporting a problem, include the app name, device model, iOS version, board size, difficulty, and a screenshot if the issue is visual. If the issue involves a saved game, include whether the game was newly started, resumed, paused, or completed.
Gameplay Help
Sudoku is a classic number puzzle. Start a new game, choose a board size (4x4, 6x6, or 9x9) and a difficulty (Easy, Medium, or Hard), then fill every row, column, and box so each contains its numbers exactly once. You can pencil in notes, undo and redo moves, erase entries, check your board, save progress, resume games, and review your history and statistics.
Hints, Checks, and Solve
Each new game starts with a free allowance of hints and checks. A hint points to the next logical move and names the solving technique behind it; a check validates your current board. When your free allowance is used up, you can earn an extra hint or check, or reveal the full solution, by watching a rewarded ad.
Ads
Sudoku may show banner ads and rewarded ads through Google AdMob. Some helper features may require a rewarded ad. Reward availability can depend on network conditions, region, device settings, or advertising provider availability.
Statistics and Streaks
Sudoku tracks lifetime statistics including games started and completed, best and average times, hints used, and your daily streak. A streak counts each calendar day on which you complete at least one puzzle.
